What are mini sessions, you ask? Mini sessions are short photo sessions–just 15 minutes. The dates, times, and locations are pre-determined by the photographer. Mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back. They are discounted sessions and are only offered for a limited time. My mini sessions typically sell out, so act fast!
Mini sessions are held in some of my favorite picturesque outdoor locations in San Diego county, as well as our studio in Poway. The photoshoots are stacked on specific dates.
These are fast and festive–perfect for the busy Holiday season. Mini sessions are great for families, children and couples. Do you have a wiggly little one or a camera-shy partner? Now’s the time to book a mini session!
2026 Mini Sessions include:
15-minute photography session
Your choice of 10 edited, high-resolution image files (printable up to 8″x10″)
Online gallery where you can choose your favorites, download your photos, and order prints
4 family members are included per mini session. Additional family members (including pets in most locations) are welcome. Please add $30 per additional family member and/or pet. Mini sessions are best for 5 or fewer people.
The full balance and a signed contract are required to secure your mini session time slot.

Here’s What To Expect:
Planning
We will help you throughout the planning process! We will be sending you helpful hints, tips on what to wear (come dressed up in your Holiday best, or be cozy in Christmas pajamas), and other important information. We will send you instructions on where to meet.
On the Day of Your Session
Your session will begin and end promptly at the scheduled time. It is imperative to arrive on time to make the most of your photo session. Please arrive at the location 10 minutes early and be ready for the camera.
Post Session
You will receive your online proofing gallery within 10 days after the session–guaranteed no later than 14 days. Rush turnaround editing service can be purchased for an added fee. The online proofing gallery contains the best photos from your session. Each session is different, but you can expect approximately 20-35 proof images. You will then select your favorite images online. Once you select your favorites, I will send you the images and you can download them to your computer.
There will be opportunities to purchase additional images, prints, and canvases via the online gallery after the session as well!

Q: I think we need a longer session. Do you offer longer sessions?
A: Yes, we offer 30-minute and 1-hour long sessions with more photos in the package! Please contact me for more info.
Q: Can extended family members and pets join the session?
A: Mini sessions are best for 5 or fewer family members. We love big families and want to have more time with them. Extended families or multiple households require a longer session. Please contact me for more info if your family includes more than 5 members. Pets are also welcome at outdoor locations.
Q: Can I choose more photos?
A: Absolutely! You can upgrade your session to include all of the images at a special discounted rate of $100 upon booking. Most clients add this to their package. You can also wait until after the session and add all of the images or just a few extra images for $30 each.
Q: How quickly will I receive the photos? I want to use them for Holiday cards!
A: You will receive your online proofing gallery within 10 days after the session (guaranteed no later than 14 days). Rush turnaround editing service can be purchased for an added fee.
Q: Does the mini session come with prints?
A: No, but we encourage clients to print their photos. You can also order photos for gifts! Beautiful, professional prints are available for purchase via your online gallery or you can use a lab of your choice.
